Simple and Easy Low Carb BBQ Sauce – Keto


Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present low carbohydrate barbecue sauce. A very quick and easy recipe that will have you saying
pass the sauce instead of hold the sauce at your next outdoor cookout. Summer is
right around the corner though; so let’s get started. As I just said, this is a
very easy sauce that begins with this – reduce sugar ketchup. When it comes to
recipes, sometimes shortcuts are the way to go and this is no exception.
You’re going to use the whole 13 ounce bottle and I’ll explain why in just a
bit. Begin by pouring the whole bottle of
ketchup into a mixing bowl. This will add up to about one and a half cups. Now to
the flavor and spices… First, we’ll add some Worcestershire sauce; followed by a little apple cider vinegar; and for a touch of smokiness, some liquid smoke.
We’ll balance out our acidity by adding some EZ Sweetz. Feel free to use any
sweetener, but I do recommend a liquid; if you do use a granulated sweetener, you
may want to simmer this on a stove top for about 20 to 30 minutes to help
dissolve it. When it comes to cooking though, to me, simple is the way to go. Add some onion powder; some garlic powder; some freshly ground black pepper; little
salt; and some smoked paprika. I find this helps take the edge off the
vinegar, while adding a bit more smokiness. Mix everything until well
blended. As always, I’ll have the ingredient amounts as well as the macros
at the end of the video, and I’ll leave some links below on where you may find
some of the ingredients that they’re not available at your local store. I want you
to consider this your barbecue sauce canvas. From this point forward, you can
create any flavor profile you like. If you like it tangy; add a bit more apple
cider vinegar. if you like it sweet; add a little more sweetener. Spicy? Add some
cayenne pepper or some crushed red pepper flakes. I think you get the idea.
And now we’ll move on to our final step; the reason we wanted to use the whole
bottle. We’re going to pour our sauce back into the bottle. That’s right! Now we
have our storage vessel as well as our serving vessel. Remember;
